About Me
I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I grew up and am proud to be a Townie.  My husband and I have an amazing son who is a teenager now.

We have three dogs.  The oldest came home with me from Nepal as a puppy in 2009.  His story is here.  The smallest, maybe from Mexico(?), was rescued from a shelter in Chicago by Sasha Farm in 2016.  Our third dog, the youngest at 72 pounds, was given to us by relatives who were downsizing in 2021.  Recently in 2026 we took in a stray cat.  We were feeding and sheltering him outside on the front porch through a very harsh winter. Finally, we gained his trust!  He is now inside and happily the newest member of our family!

When home with family and our many animals, I watch the wildlife outside the large windows facing our back woods.  When not distracted by birds, squirrels, chipmunks and deer, I aim to type up 30-plus years of handwritten travel journals.  I spend time scrolling through photographs and enjoy creating videos about past trips. It's a good day when I find time to draw, make earrings, sew, write, sing, tap dance, hula-hoop or create an amazing dinner without complaining!

For many years, I led adventure trips to Nepal and other parts of the world.  My past life as a tour operator and guide is fondly remembered! When not traveling, I have enjoyed welcoming guests to my vacation rental near downtown Ann Arbor since 2000.  At the house, my artwork, drawings and travel photographs (among many other treasures) are part of the Everything's Artwork Collection. My guesthouse doubles as an event space and mini art museum!

I hope you will have as much fun exploring my adventures in art here as I have had putting it all in one place! Maybe you'll be convinced that Everything's Artwork!
