The subject of my drawings and photographs interrupts a busy world in motion.  I capture thoughts, situations and natural scenes.  My portfolio includes ordinary observances and travel highlights.  I like to draw mermaids or friends or strangers, mostly snapshots from everyday life that make me pause.  I aim to preserve a feeling of simplicity, an "aha" or a short story.  I use an iPhone, permanent marker, watercolor, acrylic or random found materials to express what I see.  Trapping space-time onto paper or in wire, glass, clay, sticks, beads, video, mobiles, thread or other constructions helps dissolve complexities and relaxes my mind.  My art allows me to focus on experience, document a journey or simply be reminded I am free in the world.  At least the walls will never be bare.
