The simplicity in my drawings and photographs interrupts a busy world in motion.  I capture thoughts, moments, situations and natural scenes.  My portfolio includes mermaids, ordinary observances and travel highlights.  I draw friends or strangers, mostly snapshots from everyday life that challenge me to see more.  I use a camera, permanent marker, watercolor, acrylic and other materials to describe what I see.  Trapping space-time on paper, in wire, glass, clay, sticks, beads, video, mobiles or other art forms relaxes my mind and unravels complexities.  My art allows me to focus on experience and document my existence.  At least the walls will never be bare.
